Poetry is thoughts that breathe, and words that burn. ~ Thomas Gray
escaping eden
where misogyny’s apple
grows from pointed tongues
angel of mercy
flying a needle sky
clouded with corpses
butterfly pressed beneath glass
caught by Eden’s net

I love how each stanza stands alone in poetic strength but also pulls together all the images perfectly. Always so glad to read your poetry my friend!
So glad to see you at Muse, Susie! And you used all three images, I love that.
Ooh! Very cool. Especially love "flying a needle sky!!!"
Eden seems an uncomfortable sort of place if you're the female, doesn't it? Such wonderful description here, Susie. That middle stanza is just amazing.
Amazing haiku for each image. Bravo
You cut to the bone with each one.
